Women's Self Defense Training

The Brentwood Police Department offers a women's self defense class. Our instructors teach well rounded multiple discipline curriculum that will aid women in becoming more situationally aware and provide a basic understanding of self defense principles and how to apply them in real world situations.

Class Dates

2026 Dates

  • Session 1: February 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th
  • Session 2: May 19th, 21st, 26th, and 28th
  • Session 3:TBD
  • Session 4:TBD

The class session will meet from 6pm to 9pm consisting of:

  • Four classes - taught in three-hour sessions
  • Offered for girls 13 years of age and older
  • A “go at your own pace” program designed for virtually all fitness and skill levels

Registration

Registration begins thirty days prior to a class session. To register email to Women's Self Defense Class each potential attendees name and date of birth. All liability paperwork and releases will be completed on the first night of attendance. There is limited availability to each session so if you are considering the classes please make sure there are no conflicts in your schedule. We want to make the most of the limited class time we have since each class builds on the previous. There are no wait lists to be put on for upcoming classes.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult during all classes.
